Continued IOR Education: Form-work

Here at Inspect OSHPD we are always seeking to continually learn on the jobsite as well as in our free time. I call it “Continued IOR Education: Form-work and Reinforcement.” You may call it something different, but I hope we are all seeking it in one form or another. I recently came across a FREE educational opportunity from Hilti. Its a webinar on the Basics of Strength Design. Here’s the link to email for more information as the webinar I registered for is the 20th at 12pm PST: webinar@hilti.com I also tweeted the link earlier – check the side bar…

“This presentation will explain key strength design concepts given in the anchoring-to-concrete provisions of the ACI 318 code. It will also explain the approval process that is required for post-installed anchors.”

What do you as an IOR do to continually improve as an IOR? Do you know of any upcoming free or paid learning opportunities?
